This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and sustain Salesforce applications leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
β’ Facilitate technical discussions and assist in solution design in collaboration with architects.
β’ Provide mentorship to junior developers through pair programming, code reviews, and guidance.
β’ Incorporate a public health perspective into technical decisions and design discussions.
β’ Produce clean, well-documented, and testable code.
β’ Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
β’ Partner with QA to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
β’ Convert public health requirements into scalable technical solutions.
β’ Offer constructive feedback during code reviews.
β’ Engage in quarterly Program Increment planning meetings.
β’ Operate in two-week sprints that include daily standups, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
β’ Steer technical decisions within the team.
β’ Collaborate with solutions analysts, architects, and QA specialists.
β’ Over 3 years of practical Salesforce development experience.
β’ 1β3 years of experience working with a governmental public health agency (local, state, federal, or tribal).
β’ Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
β’ Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is preferred.
β’ Experience in Agile or SAFe environments is essential.
β’ Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
β’ Proven experience mentoring or guiding less experienced developers.
β’ High proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation tools.
β’ Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling and security models.
β’ Knowledge of integration patterns and REST/SOAP APIs.
β’ Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD methodologies.
β’ Understanding of testing frameworks and test-driven development.
β’ Experience with Service Cloud or Health Cloud is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements is preferred.
β’ Experience with SAFe Agile methodology is preferred.
β’ Background in public health data systems, case management, or epidemiology workflows is preferred.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
