Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.

• Lead the hands-on development of Agentforce, from recognizing suitable use cases and configuring agents to testing and deployment.

• Enhance Sales Cloud and create or maintain integrations between Salesforce, FinancialForce, and other enterprise systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business challenges and determine when to employ Apex, Salesforce Flow, or other native platform functionalities.

• Examine the current system and pinpoint enhancements to performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Uphold high standards for testing, security, source control, deployment, and technical documentation.

• Work alongside internal Salesforce team members and external development partners.

• Participate as a member of an agile software development team.

• Write and evaluate code, engage directly with business stakeholders, challenge requirements, and suggest delivery methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer, with the capability to take ownership of development tasks within a small team.

• Practical experience in building solutions using Apex and LWC.

• Strong knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.

• Robust Sales Cloud experience and familiarity with complex or multi-org Salesforce environments.

• Hands-on experience in designing and executing integrations between Salesforce and other systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and automation, including Salesforce Flow.

• Familiarity with modern Salesforce development and deployment practices, such as Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Essential hands-on experience with Agentforce implementation.

• Experience in designing, building, and implementing Salesforce Agentforce agents for real business scenarios, preferably through to production.

• Ability to articulate the functionality of personally developed Agentforce features and explain how they were tested and deployed.

• Capability to describe the configuration of topics, actions, instructions, guardrails, and agent interactions with Salesforce data, automation, APIs, or existing business processes.
