Salesforce Developer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and configure Salesforce solutions utilizing low-code/no-code tools along with custom coding to fulfill DHS needs.

• Implement and tailor Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud for case management, citizen engagement portals, and workflow management.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop and sustain integrations with external systems.

• Facilitate data migration from legacy systems through data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.

• Write code in compliance with Salesforce best practices and federal security standards.

• Assist in producing technical documentation for project deliverables, gate reviews, and ATO cybersecurity compliance.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues while enhancing system performance and scalability.

• Provide user training by sharing technical insights and ensuring features are intuitive and easily adoptable.

• Must be willing to undergo a federal background check due to the sensitive nature of the client.

• Experience in designing, developing, and configuring Salesforce-based solutions using low-code/no-code tools and custom coding.

• Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

• Experience in implementing and customizing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud.

• Capacity to translate requirements into technical solutions, including user stories, workflows, and system features.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining integrations with external systems.

• Background in supporting data migration, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Salesforce best practices and federal security requirements like NIST and FISMA.

• Competence in creating technical documentation for project deliverables, gate reviews, and ATO cybersecurity standards.

• Skill in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing system performance and scalability.

• Capability to support user training and ensure that system features are user-friendly and easily adoptable.
