This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +24 more states.
• Oversee the creation of Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning components, and Flow to replicate and enhance existing Pega case-management workflows.
• Develop and implement a migration strategy for transferring case data, business rules, and workflow logic from Pega to Salesforce.
• Create custom applications and enhancements centered on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Set and uphold development standards regarding code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
• Advise on Salesforce architecture patterns, tools, and integration strategies for review and approval by the Chief Architect.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and other systems, particularly AWS.
• Present technical design choices through the program's ADR process.
• Execute integrations between Salesforce and cloud services ensuring secure and compliant data exchanges.
• Collaborate with the Data Solutions Architect on strategies for data migration, integration, and cleansing.
• Ensure data management complies with CMS ARS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in development.
• Convert CMS business requirements, via the Senior Business Analyst, into technical Salesforce solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and address complex implementation challenges.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in the development process and tools.
• Remain updated on advancements in Salesforce Government Cloud and Health Cloud relevant to federal case-management scenarios.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Over 5 years of practical Salesforce development experience.
• Direct experience with migrations from legacy case-management platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting federal contracts; experience with CMS is highly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge in Apex, Lightning components, Flow, and advanced Salesforce configuration.
• Experience with Salesforce data management, including large-scale migrations, integrations, and cleansing processes.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with cloud platforms, especially AWS, using REST APIs and middleware.
• Experience operating within an architecture governance framework, including ADRs and architecture review boards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into Salesforce implementations.
• Remote candidates must reside in one of the specified eligible U.S. states.
• Must be capable of sitting, reading, working on a computer, and viewing a computer screen for extended durations.
• Preferred: Salesforce Developer / Architect certifications.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Health Cloud.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Preferred: Direct exposure to the BFCC-QIO or Medicare case-management domain.
