Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and the Salesforce Platform.

• Construct and support enterprise integrations between Salesforce and MuleSoft, CommerceTools, Stripe, Sitecore, Azure services, and various third-party applications.

• Establish and advocate for development standards, code quality practices, security controls, and platform governance.

• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and release criteria.

• Oversee delivery throughout the complete SDLC, including technical design, development, testing, deployment readiness, production support, and ongoing improvement.

• Utilize Git source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines for dependable deployments.

• Engage in Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Diagnose complex application, integration, deployment, and production issues; execute root-cause analysis.

• Monitor platform performance and lead initiatives for optimization, refactoring, technical debt reduction, and modernization.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, integration documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and implementation guides.

• Assess new Salesforce capabilities, releases, and ecosystem technologies, recommending opportunities for adoption.

• Support platform security, compliance, audit readiness, data governance, and change management initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level Salesforce developers.

• Undertake miscellaneous duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and data governance.

• Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred.

• Additional Salesforce certifications and Copado certification are advantageous.

• Proficient in Apex development and test class design.

• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and contemporary UI development patterns.

• Knowledge of Salesforce Flows and declarative automation.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP API integration development.

• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, and CI/CD automation.

• Knowledge of Salesforce deployment and release management practices.

• Experience in platform performance analysis and optimization.

• Expertise in security, compliance, and governance implementation on Salesforce.

• Experience with AI tools or a demonstrated eagerness to learn.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma with at least 11 years of Salesforce platform development experience.

• At least 7 years of Salesforce platform development experience, including significant hands-on Apex and LWC development.

• Experience in designing, developing, and supporting custom Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience with enterprise integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.

• Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary.

• Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods and operate computer equipment.
