This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Assist small to medium-sized clients and manage distribution in the Pacific Northwest region.
• Collaborate with large accounts and oversee non-sales processes.
• Establish relationships with key influencers and broaden customer networks.
• Generate leads and delineate sales territories.
• Manage sales analytics and leverage market intelligence to aid decision-making.
• Provide technical solutions to address customer challenges.
• Interact with customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Maintain and grow the account portfolio and Dow's presence in the area.
• Comprehend customer requirements to differentiate Dow and increase market share.
• Explore new opportunities for product development.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve volume and value targets.
• Formulate sales plans that are in sync with marketing initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
• Develop sales forecasts in partnership with Production and Supply Chain.
• Gather and analyze data to inform sales strategies and influence new product development.
• Lead negotiations and create as well as execute pricing strategies that align with business objectives, legal considerations, customs regulations, and Dow's sales processes.
• Work together with various functions and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer experience outcomes.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or pertinent military experience at or above a U.S. E5, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant ranking.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Eligibility to work legally in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship or support is provided, including for any form of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
• Prior experience in a commercial or customer-facing role.
• Previous sales experience, with a proven track record of identifying and achieving cross-business sales.
• Proficient in CRM, DSR, OMP, SmartPrice, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Outstanding phone and cold calling skills.
