Senior Sales Performance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in the development of reports utilizing SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.

• Uphold best practices and standards for consistent reporting.

• Develop and maintain reporting queries, new business reporting applications, and databases for on-demand reports.

• Generate intricate sales-analysis reports and dashboards leveraging Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and Excel.

• Prepare comprehensive new sales analysis and reports for partners, sales teams, and executive management.

• Engage in and provide insights for sales, inventory, corporate projects, and revenue-growth initiatives.

• Offer guidance on sales reporting to Sales Performance Analysts I and II.

• Serve as an analytics contact point for assigned partners and internal stakeholders.

• Manage escalation procedures for reporting issues, including documenting root causes, coordinating corrective measures, communicating statuses and ETAs, and validating fixes through reconciliation and controls.

• Undertake additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• 3+ years of pertinent work experience focusing on report development with SQL.

• 3+ years of relevant experience with MS Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI, including report development, dashboard creation, and data transformation, cleansing, and shaping processes within Power BI (equivalent experience with Tableau is accepted).

• 3-5 years of experience utilizing database applications.

• 5-7 years of experience in writing and/or modifying queries and expressions in MS Excel.

• Alternatively, equivalent military experience.

• Willingness to travel 5% of the time.

• Strong functional expertise in SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio.

• Strong functional expertise in Power BI.

• Strong functional expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to function within a remote team environment.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.

• Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under deadline pressure in a dynamic environment.

• Capability to question discrepancies and propose recommendations.

• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce reporting tools, AI-enabled reporting tools, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), insurance industry sales data analytics, LOMA courses or similar certifications, and MS SharePoint Online.
