This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Act as the main point of contact between GM, dealerships, and essential business partners.
• Guide and mentor dealership leaders and staff to enhance operational efficiency and meet sales objectives.
• Evaluate dealership performance, sales patterns, market dynamics, competitive actions, and customer satisfaction indicators.
• Assist in the introduction of new products, programs, and initiatives by orchestrating sales, marketing, and communication efforts.
• Improve vehicle and parts inventory management through effective forecasting, ordering, allocation, and stabilization strategies.
• Become an expert in GM’s Consensus allocation system and vehicle ordering procedures.
• Monitor dealership commitments and action plans, ensuring timely execution.
• Promote the sales and adoption of GM vehicles, accessories, products, and services via tailored business plans for the territory.
• Address customer and dealership issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee dealership training involvement and adherence to GM standards.
• Travel across the designated territory to evaluate dealership operations and facilitate the implementation of GM programs and initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or similar fields with a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools, encompassing data analysis, reporting, and visualization; preferably with Google Workspace.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to various locations within your territory.
• Must possess and maintain the legal ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with the licensing regulations of the states where work is conducted.
• Current residency within the territory or readiness to relocate to Des Moines, IA, the Quad Cities Area, or an approved surrounding area within 60 days of the start date.
• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship at any point now or in the future.
• Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review is mandatory.
• Preferred qualifications include strategic business planning, data analytics, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer focus, relationship management, and adaptability to uncertainty.
