This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers, and Clinical Specialists within the designated district.

• Meet district sales targets while representing Medtronic.

• Manage the hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and continuous professional development of the district sales team.

• Drive the execution of strategic sales initiatives and customer engagement efforts.

• Promote and sell Medtronic Neurovascular products and services within the assigned geographic regions and/or customer accounts.

• Develop, cultivate, and enhance relationships with distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders.

• Pursue leads, evaluate needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Neurovascular products and services.

• Provide clinical and technical support during procedures and inform clinicians about patient treatment options.

• Advocate for the education of company products and services.

• Conduct and/or assess market research on customer and competitor activities.

• Develop and/or implement market development plans and strategies.

• Gather customer feedback regarding new products or modifications and relay it to R&D, Operations, and Marketing.

• Establish relationships and collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, and other departments.

• Travel throughout the assigned territory, which includes approximately 50% driving time and occasional overnight travel.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience; or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience.

• Valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in Medical Devices, including 5+ years in Neurovascular or Neurosurgery.

• Preferred: 3+ years of Sales Management experience.

• Experience leading teams in complex healthcare settings, including medical sales, marketing, or hospital service line functions.

• Demonstrated ability to influence business outcomes, increase procedure adoption, and drive revenue growth.

• Clinical experience in interventional suites, hospital environments, or emergency medical services.

• Advanced skills in negotiation and/or presentation.

• Capability to convey information clearly and effectively to large audiences.

• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently and be mobile.

• Proficient in computer-based tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to lift 20 pounds.

• Proficient in hearing, seeing, and speaking fluently.

• Willingness to travel extensively by car and air.

• Capability to sit and stand for 8 hours per day.

• Ability to wear a lead apron for extended periods.

• Competence to operate a moving vehicle.

• Ability to work in operating rooms and/or hospital labs with radiation exposure.

• Flexibility to conduct company business outside the typical Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm schedule.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is needed.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.
