This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Effectively convey product information in a way that is meaningful and relevant to each customer's specific needs.
• Act as the main contact for designated customers, identifying potential business opportunities.
• Formulate customer strategies, solutions, partner engagement, and offerings to create sales opportunities and foster account growth.
• Create territory and account plans for assigned customers.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners to stimulate sales growth.
• Work alongside species teams to deepen knowledge of the Animal Health product portfolio.
• Disseminate knowledge among regional team members to promote team growth and development.
• Review monthly sales results and manage expenses according to budgetary guidelines.
• Identify programs and services that meet customer needs and offer educational and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and Field Technical Services to design and deliver pertinent customer offerings.
• Stay informed about Animal Health products, industry trends, competitors, business models, influencers, and network structures.
• Relay insights on customer, industry, product, and market trends throughout the organization.
• Establish and achieve learning and development goals set in collaboration with leadership.
• Promote and sell Animal Health products, supporting pull-through activities within the designated territory.
• High school diploma with over 10 years of sales experience or a bachelor's degree with more than 5 years of sales experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of account management experience.
• Background in the Ruminant Industry is preferred.
• Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and capable of using an iPad.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight and participate in occasional weekend activities.
• Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not mandatory.
• A valid driving license is required.
