Senior Ruby Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance high-performance, cloud-native web applications encompassing frontend, backend, and infrastructure elements.

• Convert prototypes, internal automation tools, and predictive models into reliable, scalable features ready for production.

• Maintain high availability and low-latency performance for backend worker queues, critical systems, and cloud infrastructure.

• Design user-friendly dashboards that offer insights into automation pipelines.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, including GitLab and the Gemini ecosystem, to expedite development, code reviews, and automated testing.

• Work collaboratively with product, data, and engineering teams while fostering a strong culture of mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing full-stack web applications, including intricate API integrations and background job management.

• Proficient in Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and React.

• Practical experience in developing, deploying, and monitoring scalable applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Exposure to automation tools, RPA bots, automated agents, or Document Intelligence/IDP solutions is beneficial.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding speed and quality.

• Capability to develop comprehensive product features across both frontend and backend.

• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards is essential.

• Preferred: Experience in building AI Agents utilizing OpenClaw, UiPath, or Gemini AI Studio.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Document Intelligence APIs such as Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract, or Google Cloud Document AI.

• Preferred: Expertise in message brokers and managing complex state using RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, or Pub/Sub.

• Preferred: Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: Knowledge of prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, and RAG use cases.
