Senior Risk Solutions Consultant, TN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive technical assessments and loss evaluations for complex prospective or current policyholders.

• Recognize and assess exposures and controls.

• Provide consultative and technical services to policyholders.

• Formulate and implement service strategies alongside underwriting and agency partners.

• Execute field surveys and compile reports for underwriting purposes.

• Generate and present loss analysis.

• Develop and offer impactful service solutions.

• Establish and follow up on crucial recommendations.

• Cultivate strong relationships with underwriting and agency partners.

• Engage in underwriting pipeline, new business, and renewal meetings to offer Risk Solutions insights.

• Advance risk solutions and industry expertise through educational programs and training sessions.

• Articulate ideas or positions convincingly to garner support, agreement, and commitment.

• Guide and mentor junior staff as needed.

• Show improvements in loss ratios, loss frequency, and loss severity on designated service accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Risk Solutions/Loss Control field experience with a national or regional commercial lines insurance carrier.

• A preferred B.S. degree in a relevant field such as health and safety, science, engineering, or equivalent.

• Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of initiative; capable of working independently with limited supervision.

• Strong to exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Preferred professional loss control certifications, including CSP, CFPS, CIH, PE, CPCU, or ARM.

• Strong to exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven project management experience.

• Competence to operate in a dynamic environment juggling multiple projects, tasks, or assignments.

• Results-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Capability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.

• Ability to navigate through customer buildings and facilities.

• Proficiency in climbing ladders to various heights and maintaining balance while performing work tasks.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
