This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver performance analysis and reporting that supports revenue decision-making across the Core brand portfolio, which includes approximately 5,500 hotels.
• Discover performance opportunities at the brand, regional, and market levels.
• Manage regular performance reporting on market share index, revenue per available room, channel contributions, and the mix of segments and business.
• Assess demand trends, the impact of events, channel behavior, and segment mix to identify addressable revenue opportunities in relation to market conditions.
• Create and sustain automated reporting and analysis workflows utilizing artificial intelligence and automation tools.
• Quantify and report the effects of revenue initiatives to ascertain whether improvements are due to initiatives or broader market fluctuations.
• Review tools and techniques, develop and document reusable artificial intelligence solutions, and empower colleagues to implement them independently.
• Convert complex data from various sources into concise performance narratives and actionable insights for operational teams and senior leadership.
• Operate autonomously with minimal supervision as an individual contributor without direct reports.
• Minimum of four years of experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.
• Proven track record of working with large data sets, reconciling data from diverse sources, identifying trends, and producing actionable analyses for stakeholders.
• Experience in automating analytical or reporting processes, achieving measurable enhancements in cycle time, accuracy, or capacity.
• Capability to work independently with minimal guidance, including the ability to set analytical strategies and manage competing priorities among stakeholders.
• Background in hospitality, hotel operations, or travel industry distribution is preferred.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, encompassing complex formulas, large datasets, and structured modeling.
• Proficiency in Tableau, including the ability to build and maintain dashboards and reporting views tailored for various audiences.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with the capability to independently query and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Proven ability to utilize generative artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to automate analytical and reporting workflows, including the design of prompts and repeatable processes.
• Familiarity with hospitality performance data sources, such as STR and similar market share, demand, and channel intelligence platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the capability to create clear and executive-ready presentations.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Python or similar scripting for data manipulation and automation.
• Preferred: Understanding of cloud data warehouse environments and enterprise reporting architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
