This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze data and information to establish verified connections.
• Investigate and document tactics used by threat actors, including fraudulent law enforcement identities and agencies, compromised agent accounts and credentials, and misuse of trusted access.
• Initiate communications via calls and emails with international government entities across various time zones.
• Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and personnel around the globe.
• Promote collaboration between departments and optimize workflows.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to user requirements.
• Keep abreast of industry and market developments.
• Improve law enforcement operations throughout the LATAM region.
• Assist in protecting the platform, clients, and end-users.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in threat intelligence, identity fraud investigation, or a comparable analytical field.
• Proficient in pivot-based OSINT, encompassing passive DNS, ASN attribution, WHOIS/RDAP, certificate transparency, and email infrastructure analysis.
• Fluent in English along with Brazilian Portuguese or Spanish; proficiency in all three languages is highly preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to work across different time zones.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must currently hold authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Unable to provide sponsorship or transfer for employment visas.
• Preferred: direct experience with account takeover, synthetic identity fraud, data theft/extortion, spear phishing, targeted intrusions, underground cybercrime environments, and organizational impersonation.
• Preferred: knowledge of network and host-based security controls and tools such as Shodan, Censys, VirusTotal, and APIs.
• Preferred: operational understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Preferred: background in law enforcement or legal processes.
• Preferred: experience in FinTech, cryptocurrency, or identity verification platforms.
