This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the HB Claims application(s)/module(s) of Epic with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other applications to achieve development and implementation goals.
• Comprehend and document existing workflows while proposing optimized future workflows.
• Present opportunities for system enhancements and innovative technical solutions.
• Identify, suggest, construct, and showcase application configuration prototypes.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance and configuration updates for Epic applications.
• Develop test scripts, timelines, and strategies for application and workflow modifications.
• Test the configuration and processes of clinical information systems across various applications.
• Coordinate and engage in user and requestor testing.
• Provide tier-two end-user support both remotely and in person.
• Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incoming support tickets.
• Act as a liaison between users and vendors, coordinating system fixes and adjustments.
• Manage the deployment of application changes alongside training and operations teams.
• Function as the project lead for significant initiatives and carry out assigned project management responsibilities.
• Develop, document, and adhere to internal procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently in a complex environment.
• Advanced critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities and follow-up skills.
• Proven advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• At least five (5) years of relevant Epic experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of software development/build lifecycles.
• Epic HB Claims certification must be maintained according to Epic Corporation standards.
