Senior Revenue Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze capital placement agreements and ascertain the proper lease classification in accordance with ASC 842 and Danaher policies.

• Assess non-standard terms and conditions in customer contracts and orders.

• Formulate technically sound conclusions regarding revenue recognition as per ASC 606.

• Execute accounting processes for distribution rebates and chargebacks.

• Offer technical support for revenue-related month-end closing activities and audit inquiries.

• Cultivate advanced expertise in ASC 842 to ensure precise and compliant revenue and lease reporting.

• Spearhead and assist automation initiatives aimed at optimizing and streamlining revenue operations processes.

• Enhance functional knowledge of SAP Quote-to-Cash and Revenue Accounting and Reporting modules.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting as a member of the Revenue & Technical Accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of accounting experience.

• Proficient hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting).

• Capability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Quick aptitude for learning new concepts and accounting guidelines, including changing standards and technical literature.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.

• Experience in Big 4 or public/private industry accounting is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience with ERP system implementations, including user acceptance testing (UAT), data validations, and data analytics tasks.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA and the SAP RAR module.
