Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +37 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage daily revenue and marketplace operations, including monthly closing activities and revenue accounting.

• Lead initiatives within special projects, such as the implementation of Sigma and Claude Skills for automated revenue reporting, control measures, and metric visualization.

• Assess the accounting implications of contract restructures and modifications, ensuring proper treatment in NetSuite.

• Oversee month-end procedures, which include reviewing subscription data in NetSuite and conducting final analyses of customer fluctuations.

• Create, execute, and automate data reconciliations across key system integrations.

• Monitor data flow discrepancies and resolve any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with Business Applications to enhance the Quote-to-Cash process across Salesforce, Zone Billing, and NetSuite ARM.

• Provide guidance to Deal Desk, Strategy Ops, and FP&A on accounting issues and deal structures, including contract cancellations.

• Conduct SSP analysis and update revenue recognition rules and allocations as necessary.

• Oversee the preparation and review of audit support schedules, acting as a primary contact for inquiries during financial audits.

• Prepare and review revenue reports and financial metrics, including ARR, RPO, and detailed revenue disclosures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• CPA certification is a plus.

• 2-3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or public accounting.

• Familiarity with ASC 606 principles and internal controls, with the capability to apply them independently.

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ARM and Salesforce.

• Experience with Sigma, Claude, and Zone Billing is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Skill in breaking down complex issues into actionable steps and driving them to resolution with minimal oversight.

• Exceptional attention to detail, especially concerning contract analysis, reconciliations, and audit schedules.

• An agile mindset focused on continuous improvement, particularly in automating key processes using Sigma, Claude, system automation, or other AI tools.
