This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the subject matter expert for retirement benefits and HCMS systems.
• Address escalated inquiries regarding retirement benefits through thorough investigation and collaboration with both internal and external partners.
• Support retirement benefits analysts in the research and troubleshooting of retirement plan-related issues.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT to identify root causes and enhance the HCMS benefits module and processes.
• Serve as a liaison among HRIS, IT, and the retirement team.
• Develop audit-report processes to enhance the efficiency of retirement benefits processing.
• Provide training to the retirement team on the HCMS benefits module and standard operating procedures.
• Generate and review bi-weekly payroll files, quarterly files, and annual compliance files, including NDT files.
• Conduct funding reconciliation and ensure the timely and accurate processing of retirement benefits.
• Test and implement changes in the HCMS benefits module related to programming, plan modifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Work in partnership with retirement plan vendors to ensure compliance and effective administration.
• Analyze data and offer evidence-based recommendations for process improvements.
• Create and document standard operating procedures, processes, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements in processes and programs.
• Utilize technology tools to boost efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in Benefits Administration and HCMS administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with an Enterprise Human Capital Management System.
• Competent in process management.
• Excellent active listening skills, clear and empathetic communication, responsibility, adaptability, and self-control under pressure.
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, compliance requirements, and filing obligations concerning employee benefit programs, including ERISA, Social Security, and DOL mandates.
• Experience collaborating with outsourced benefits administration vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; frequent sitting/standing and keyboard usage.
