Senior Research and Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement research studies pertaining to product development projects.

• Create and execute experimental protocols, testing methodologies, and data analysis strategies.

• Lead technical inquiries and troubleshooting efforts to uncover root causes and address complex issues.

• Work in collaboration with engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Analyze and interpret data from experiments.

• Present findings through technical documentation, reports, and design presentations.

• Assist in the development, verification, and optimization of products, processes, and technologies from initial concept to commercialization.

• Provide technical knowledge for preclinical research, clinical assessments, and evaluations of product performance.

• Transform research findings and technical insights into viable product solutions that meet unfulfilled clinical needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of pertinent research and development experience, OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant research and development experience, OR a PhD in a scientific or engineering field.

• Proven experience in designing, executing, and analyzing scientific or engineering studies within a research and development setting.

• Skilled in generating technical documentation, reports, and data-driven recommendations to facilitate product development decisions.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promote research, product development, or technological initiatives.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below the Principal level.
