Senior Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist with Enterprise Bundled Releases (EBR) and OFF-EBR releases

• Oversee deployment coordination and execution activities

• Aid in release planning and preparation for deployment

• Implement and track application deployments in both Non-Production and Production environments

• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, implementation strategies, and release documentation

• Facilitate rollback procedures and conduct post-release validation activities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub

• Monitor release activities, issues, risks, and dependencies using Jira and CRR processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in development, QA, environment, and operations during release execution

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or Deployment Management

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes

• Familiarity with Production and Non-Production release support

• Proficiency in Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Bitbucket, and YAML Pipelines

• Knowledge of Terraform

• Experience with Shell/PowerShell scripting

• Python experience is preferred

• Understanding of AWS deployment concepts

• Advanced conversational skills in English and Spanish are essential; proficiency will be assessed

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills

• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage critical release windows

• Proactive approach to issue identification and escalation

• For foreign nationals residing in Mexico, valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC are required

• Must be based in Mexico

• Must possess a valid work visa for Mexico
