This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Spearhead the design and execution of infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Design and oversee scalable containerization and orchestration frameworks.
• Propel advancements in continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Assess and improve system performance, availability, and security measures.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop automation and deployment strategies.
• Establish and sustain Infrastructure as Code for consistent and reproducible environments.
• Create and manage tools, processes, and environments that facilitate efficient software delivery.
• Assist with software releases and the integration and delivery of software products.
• Oversee both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure management.
• Guide junior engineers and offer technical mentorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of pertinent work experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends in DevOps and Platform Engineering.
• Strong grasp of scripting, version control, and infrastructure best practices.
• Extensive understanding of system performance, security, and reliability metrics.
• High proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
• Advanced expertise in infrastructure automation and deployment techniques.
• Specialized knowledge in containerization and orchestration, especially Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in optimizing and scaling CI/CD pipelines.
• Capability to lead complex projects, drive strategic initiatives, and influence decision-making processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and spearhead initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab, ArgoCD, Artifactory, and Ansible.
