This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute strategies to optimize the use of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products within targeted accounts while adhering to budgetary constraints.

• Support corporate goals and convey essential selling messages.

• Deliver exceptional customer service as an assay provider.

• Cultivate customer relationships leveraging clinical and scientific knowledge, stakeholder insights, and effective selling techniques.

• Be aware of clinical and political issues relevant to the territory.

• Provide essential sales data and direct insights to national, regional, and area teams.

• Collaborate with managed care and reimbursement teams, patients, support groups, advocacy organizations, and healthcare providers to guarantee product accessibility.

• Achieve or surpass sales targets in the designated territory through field-based interactions and meetings with healthcare professionals and their teams.

• Promote company products and services, establish new accounts, and enhance business within existing ones.

• Create and implement strategic territory management and tactical initiatives.

• Foster growth by understanding disease states, competition, and external business influences.

• Complete training and engage with genomic testing and Precision Oncology products.

• Maintain technical proficiency in disease states, products, and competitive landscape to encourage physician and influencer engagement.

• Attend sales meetings and professional conferences across the U.S. as required.

• Build relationships with national leaders in oncology and pathology.

• Keep open lines of communication with internal teams, managers, and clients.

• Integrate feedback, prioritize tasks, and drive results effectively.

• Uphold the company’s mission and values while adhering to Quality Management System policies and protocols.

• Ensure reliable attendance and adhere to the assigned schedule.

• Travel approximately 75% of working time, which may include overnight and weekend trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Over 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in selling or promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics or similar intricate healthcare products.

• At least 3 years of medical sales experience in specialized areas such as Buy & Bill, Medical Device, and high-need clinical specialties including urology, cardiology, or GI.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly competitive sales environment.

• Proven clinical and scientific acumen.

• Strong territory or account management abilities demonstrated.

• Comprehensive understanding of competitors and market trends that influence product utilization.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• No more than two moving violations, incidents, or accidents in the past 36 months.

• No alcohol or drug-related events involving vehicle operation within the last 36 months.

• No negative liability findings from the Motor Vehicle Report check.

• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Preferred: clinical experience.

• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in oncology sales related to chemo/immunotherapy or oncology diagnostics.

• Preferred: established relationships within oncology accounts in the territory.

• Preferred: experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers.

• Preferred: familiarity with NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, and/or hereditary cancer.
