This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute territory strategies to optimize the utilization of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products in targeted accounts while adhering to budget constraints.

• Achieve or surpass sales goals within a designated geographic area through field-based interactions and meetings with healthcare professionals and staff.

• Promote and sell company products and services, establish new accounts, and deepen relationships within existing accounts.

• Plan, manage, and execute strategic, results-driven activities within the territory.

• Communicate key selling points and provide exceptional customer service.

• Address clinical and political challenges related to the territory.

• Propel growth by leveraging knowledge of disease states, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.

• Complete training and demonstrate proficiency with genomic testing and Precision Oncology products.

• Maintain technical knowledge of Exact Sciences products and competing offerings to influence physicians and stakeholders toward patient access and product use.

• Provide insights to national, regional, and area teams to facilitate informed business decisions.

• Collaborate with managed care, reimbursement stakeholders, patients, support groups, advocacy organizations, and providers to ensure product accessibility.

• Cultivate relationships with national oncology and pathology opinion leaders within the territory.

• Attend sales meetings and professional conferences across the U.S. as required.

• Maintain effective communication with internal colleagues, managers, and customers.

• Adhere to the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Exhibit reliable attendance and adhere to the designated work schedule.

• Travel for 75% of working hours, which may include overnight and weekend trips.

• Alternate between sitting and standing for about 50% of a typical workday and lift up to 25 pounds for roughly 15% of a typical workday.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience as an alternative to a degree.

• Over 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of selling or promoting complex products in medical oncology, diagnostics, or similar healthcare sectors.

• Minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience in specialty areas such as Buy & Bill, Medical Devices, or clinical specialties like urology, cardiology, or GI.

• At least 3 years of experience in a highly competitive sales environment.

• Proven clinical and scientific knowledge.

• Demonstrated strong skills in territory or account management.

• Solid understanding of competitors and market trends affecting product usage.

• Valid driver's license with no suspended, revoked, surrendered, or invalid status.

• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the last 36 months.

• No alcohol or drug-related driving events in the past 36 months.

• No unacceptable liability issues resulting from the Motor Vehicle Report check.

• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Clinical experience is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in oncology sales, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or oncology diagnostics is preferred.

• Established relationships within oncology accounts in the territory are preferred.

• Experience selling to surgeons and cancer centers is preferred.

• Familiarity with NextGen Sequencing, Minimal Residual Disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, and/or hereditary cancer is preferred.
