Senior React Engineer – TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conceive and create responsive React applications and reusable component libraries utilizing TypeScript.

• Employ contemporary React methodologies, such as functional components, hooks, state management, and modular design.

• Connect front-end applications with REST APIs and Microsoft services through secure authentication and authorization protocols.

• Execute automated unit, component, and end-to-end testing.

• Assist in CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance measures using Azure DevOps.

• Enhance applications for accessibility, performance, browser compatibility, security, and maintainability.

• Perform code reviews, address technical debt, and set front-end engineering standards.

• Collaborate with UX designers, architects, backend developers, and business stakeholders.

• Document technical choices and impart knowledge to internal developers.

• Assume responsibility for front-end components from technical design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

• Guide other developers and establish engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of software development experience, including significant recent hands-on work with React and TypeScript.

• Demonstrated ownership of production React applications and scalable front-end architecture.

• Strong comprehension of component design, state management, REST API integration, and asynchronous programming.

• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks and front-end build tools.

• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

• In-depth knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, performance optimization, and secure web development practices.

• Proficient English communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or Power Platform, particularly PCF controls (preferred).

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or API Management (preferred).

• Experience with design systems, UI libraries, application telemetry, and structured software testing (preferred).

• Capacity to independently deliver production-ready solutions, make sound architectural choices, maintain high engineering standards, identify technical risks early, and mentor other developers while collaborating effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
