Senior React Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical integrity, rendering performance, and architectural advancement of intricate responsive web applications utilizing React.js, TypeScript, and ES6+

• Develop and sustain modular component libraries along with design system integrations

• Create streamlined integration layers and state management solutions for RESTful or GraphQL APIs

• Review and enhance Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, and rendering efficiency

• Uphold quality standards through unit and integration testing

• Set up build configurations and oversee frontend CI/CD deployment pipelines within cloud environments

• Perform thorough code reviews and proactively address technical debt

• Produce clear technical documentation

• Guide mid-level and junior engineers in nearshore agile teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of focused professional frontend engineering experience with an emphasis on architecting and scaling production React applications

• Advanced proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, and component-driven architecture

• In-depth knowledge of modern CSS architectures, including Tailwind CSS and Styled Components

• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, Jest, React Testing Library/RTL, and Cypress

• Strong understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, AWS S3/CloudFront, and Vercel

• Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, client-facing startup or nearshore software development environments

• Strong sense of ownership and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent written and spoken English skills are required

• Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs

• Familiarity with Figma handoffs

• Experience with Azure App Services
