Junior Web Developer – Entry Level, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with developers, SQL experts, project managers, and UX/UI designers to create web solutions.

• Participate in development initiatives.

• Offer customer support as required.

• Address issues through research and troubleshooting.

• Assist in testing and quality assurance processes.

• Work with engineers to improve internal tools.

• Aid projects from initial concept to launch.

• Must be a student pursuing Computer Science or MIS/CMIS.

• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic about learning.

• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Fundamental knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and database management.

• Design awareness and understanding of UX/UI principles.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.

• Knowledge of performance optimization tools like Lighthouse and WebPageTest.

• Proficiency in API integration.

• Basic understanding of SEO principles.

• Introductory knowledge of backend development.

• Strong skills in documentation and technical communication.

• Understanding of DevOps or CI/CD practices.
