Senior RDE Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, observe, analyze, and characterize software issues that arise during field coverage tests.

• Assign issue resolutions to development teams to ensure the platform operates at peak performance.

• Oversee support channels and provide assistance to users.

• Lead the final validation testing prior to release.

• Revise and update technical documentation as necessary.

• Organize field tests within an Agile framework.

• Act as a liaison between development and the Coverage Test Center (CTC).

• Connect field operations with software engineering for radio frequency tools, diagnostic applications, and LMR platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of experience in coverage design and testing.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis.

• Knowledge of ASTRO 25 & LMR Platforms, including Hydra, Voyager, and Magellan systems.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Google Apps Script.

• Capability to diagnose software issues and coordinate resolution workflows between field teams and software engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript is preferred.

• Familiarity with CI/CD automated testing tools is preferred.

• Experience with Agile/Jira ticket workflows is preferred.

• UI/QA testing experience is preferred.

• Less than 10% travel is required.
