Senior R&D Engineer – Transformers Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of technology, products, and solutions, along with associated Intellectual Property (IP).

• Act as the primary contact within Research & Development for particular product-related inquiries and maintenance tasks.

• Recognize, suggest, and implement creative solutions that drive business outcomes.

• Stay updated in a specialized field by integrating the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies.

• Formulate innovative strategies to tackle intricate engineering problems by generating ideas, creating hypotheses, and establishing validation methods.

• Record technical discoveries, designs, calculations, and project outcomes to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Assist in the generation of Intellectual Property (IP) and aid in developing project IP strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in electrical design, especially in transformer design and development.

• Strong understanding of relevant industry standards, including UL, CSA, NEMA, IEEE, and IEC.

• Proficient in using simulation software for transformer design and analysis.

• Advanced communication skills in both English and Spanish.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in manufacturing processes, transformer assembly, and interpreting test reports.

• A valid U.S. visa and passport are preferred.
