Senior RCM Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in all billing and revenue cycle activities

• Address patient billing inquiries, resolve denials, answer questions regarding patient responsibilities, and verify insurance coverage

• Manage claims from start to finish through the clearinghouse

• Aid in the enhancement and optimization of RCM processes, incorporating automation and new tools

• Contribute to ad-hoc RCM initiatives, specific billing projects for payers, and expansion of new service lines

• Create and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for RCM workflows while identifying areas for improvement

• Collaborate with teams in Clinical Operations, Payer Operations, Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering

• Assess, test, and improve AI-driven billing tools and automation

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare operations

• Knowledge of insurance billing processes, including claim submissions, denial management, ERA reconciliation, and communication with payers

• Strong patient-focused communication skills, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and the ability to de-escalate billing issues

• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to follow-through

• Proficient in utilizing technology and automation tools, including those powered by AI for billing

• A background in medical coding (CPC/CCS certification) is advantageous
