This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Take charge of analytics and reporting that supports the Portfolio Development team, concentrating on SKU productivity and capital allocation across over 20,000 SKUs.
β’ Collaborate with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to grasp strategic inquiries and formulate analysis and reporting.
β’ Utilize statistical techniques such as conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to pinpoint product attributes that enhance productivity.
β’ Convert findings into recommendations regarding portfolio expansion, reduction, or adjustments.
β’ Recognize and control for confounders including stock-outs, new or discontinued SKUs, and seasonality.
β’ Detect data discrepancies at the source and rectify records within Snowflake.
β’ Partner with upstream platform owners to enhance source data and downstream analytics.
β’ Present insights autonomously to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
β’ Suggest and maintain ongoing analytics and reporting on SKU productivity.
β’ Leverage AI to analyze data, automate reporting, identify errors, and boost analytical output.
β’ 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistics within similar SKU-focused businesses.
β’ Strong foundation in statistics or operations research, encompassing regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, and optimization.
β’ Proficient in SQL and Python.
β’ Practical experience with Snowflake, including the ability to write back and correct production data.
β’ Proven history of presenting findings and challenging assumptions directly with senior stakeholders and executives.
β’ Ability to independently execute tasks and prioritize analysis in alignment with business objectives.
β’ A curious mindset with the capability to delve into data until robust conclusions are reached.
β’ Familiarity with SKU-level economics, including sell-through rates, margins, inventory levels, and lifecycle stages.
β’ Experience in addressing data quality issues by investigating root causes and implementing direct corrections.
β’ Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation.
β’ Excellent English communication skills coupled with a strong ownership mentality.
