Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily quality assurance activities related to submissions from the Engineering Team

• Conduct product testing to verify that software operates efficiently and fulfills client requirements in terms of functionality and scalability

• Create, execute, and maintain processes to ensure that products adhere to quality, functionality, and reliability standards before delivery

• Convey quality expectations and benchmarks to both QA and development teams

• Organize product testing workflows

• Detect and evaluate issues, bugs, defects, and recurring challenges across products

• Suggest and facilitate resolutions to quality-related concerns

• Assess feedback from clients, customers, and users

• Collaborate with the manager to communicate product releases to the business

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• More than 4 years of relevant experience in QA/testing automation

• Familiarity with business software systems and user management

• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Strong teamwork skills

• Outstanding ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize various projects

• Creativity and a willingness to learn new methods

• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach

• Strong interpersonal communication abilities, both verbal and written

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and workflows, including the use of LLMs to create test cases, analyze logs, and identify edge cases

• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress for comprehensive browser-based testing

• Practical knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks

• Familiarity with AI-driven QA platforms such as Testim, Mabl, or Functionize

• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI

• Capability to assess and incorporate emerging AI tools

• Comfort in collaborating with AI-generated code and verifying its accuracy

• Understanding of responsible AI practices in testing, basic prompt engineering, and model limitations

• Willingness to work during US EST timezone hours
