Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain keyword-driven automated testing suites

• Collaborate with the team to enhance test suites throughout the software development lifecycle

• Automate functional and regression testing for web-based applications

• Design and implement API test coverage

• Create, manage, and execute test cases within a test management platform

• Ensure traceability from requirements to execution

• Diagnose and prioritize test failures, distinguishing real defects from environmental and harness issues

• Write scripts to support test data preparation, execution, and reporting

• Conduct testing across various environments and coordinate environment availability with DevOps

• Oversee both automated and manual test-suite coverage and develop plans to address any gaps

• Manage testing tools and frameworks

• Present testing outcomes, risks, and coverage to teammates, stakeholders, and partners

• Engage in planning and design sessions to shape testing strategy and automation

• Suggest and assess solutions to technical and process-related challenges

• Take part in technical interviews for prospective candidates

• Guide junior-level team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience

• Relevant experience may compensate for educational requirements

• Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies

• Familiarity with keyword-driven testing, ideally with Robot Framework

• Experience in web application testing; knowledge of Playwright is advantageous

• Proficiency in API testing utilizing tools such as Postman or Swagger UI

• Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with Jira Xray

• Scripting skills in either Linux bash or Windows batch

• Experience in Python scripting

• Knowledge of the Tricentis automation tool suite

• Must be a U.S. citizen, a valid green card holder, or have been granted political asylum or refugee status

• Must be able to complete VA onboarding, PIV credentialing, and the necessary background investigation

• TMS training certificates are required as per program specifications
