Mid-Level Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and advance the quality strategy for the webhook solution.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the current codebase, architecture, APIs, integrations, and business workflows.

• Create and implement functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Develop and sustain automated test suites across suitable application layers.

• Validate webhook events, payloads, responses, retries, error handling, and failure scenarios.

• Test integrations across dependent systems and pinpoint potential integration risks.

• Validate authentication, authorization, permissions, and security-related scenarios.

• Establish quality gates and release-readiness criteria.

• Detect defects early and work with engineers to diagnose and rectify them.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and enhance overall quality.

• Integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Utilize Agentic SDLC and AI-driven engineering capabilities for test design, automation, codebase analysis, and quality enhancement.

• Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.

• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.

• Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
