Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Payroll-Deducted Loans Squad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the product quality and testing strategy by collecting, planning, prioritizing, and managing test scenarios.

• Take into account functional and non-functional requirements, risks, integrations, and their effects on the customer journey.

• Establish, develop, and consistently enhance the test automation strategy.

• Determine priority scenarios for automation and guarantee coverage of essential flows, APIs, integrations, applications, and digital journeys.

• Adopt a proactive approach to delivery quality from refinement through defining acceptance criteria.

• Detect risks, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement prior to development, assisting in minimizing defects and rework.

• Maintain product quality documentation and traceability by keeping scenarios, evidence, defects, acceptance criteria, and execution results current.

• Assist with user acceptance testing, releases, and audits.

• Act as the squad’s technical quality expert, providing support to developers, the Product Owner, and other team members.

• Advocate for best practices, conduct root-cause analyses of defects and incidents, and recommend ongoing improvements to processes, tools, and quality metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in analyzing and gathering requirements and defining functionalities.

• Background in creating mappings and managing test scenarios, defects, enhancements, functional specifications, and bug reports.

• Proficiency in writing agile tests using BDD.

• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, and Playwright.

• Experience with both transactional and non-transactional databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of the architecture and testing of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of quality practices such as unit testing, integration testing, code review, and pair programming.

• Experience in creating and managing queues using RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Skilled in managing releases and version control with GitLab, along with CI/CD practices.

• Practical experience with microservices architecture and inter-service communication.

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Familiarity with task management systems like Jira is preferred.
