Senior QA Engineer – Performance Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of end-to-end and functional verification for essential operational workflows spanning merged application ecosystems and third-party endpoints.

• Examine, replicate, and identify the root cause of system errors, edge cases, and issues reported by logistics and operations hub teams.

• Conduct exploratory and functional QA audits throughout the platform.

• Identify functional gaps and create test plans along with technical documentation.

• Develop, construct, and sustain API and backend test automation suites for REST/gRPC microservices.

• Maintain an equal split of 50% automation and 50% functional/exploratory testing.

• Compose and execute advanced SQL scripts across multiple service databases.

• Confirm routing state changes, message integrity, and data synchronization workflows.

• Integrate testing pipelines into GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

• Work collaboratively with developers to enhance workflows and pinpoint automation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of dedicated QA experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in software quality engineering, including functional system analysis, API/backend validation, and automated framework design.

• Practical knowledge of PyTest, REST Assured, Playwright, Karate, or Postman.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Python, TypeScript, Java, or C#.

• Strong SQL skills, including experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL.

• Capability to analyze complex distributed systems.

• Ability to convert operational support issues into reproducible test artifacts.

• Skill in clearly communicating platform deficiencies.

• Advanced verbal and written proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).

• Ability to collaborate with U.S. engineering stakeholders, cross-functional delivery PODs, and distributed operations teams.
