Scrum Master – Business Analyst – QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to facilitate sprint execution.

• Manage sprint backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery metrics utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

• Generate sprint status reports, dashboards, and delivery updates.

• Assist with release planning, change coordination, and ongoing process enhancement.

• Conduct sessions for requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.

• Analyze business processes and document both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Create business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, use cases, and wireframes.

• Ensure requirements traceability and clarify requirements with development teams.

• Support application demonstrations, stakeholder reviews, and user training initiatives.

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.

• Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.

• Document, track, prioritize, and retest defects.

• Validate application functionality against approved requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Support initiatives for automated, performance, accessibility, and security testing.

• Prepare testing status reports, defect metrics, and assessments for release readiness.

• Assist with validation of production releases and post-deployment testing.

• Develop user guides, training materials, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.

• Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, risk registers, and decision logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum software development environments.

• Proficiency in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coordinating Agile delivery efforts.

• Strong background in business analysis, including requirements gathering, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in developing and executing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Competency in performing functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

• Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar Agile/project management tools.

• Experience in defect tracking, requirements traceability, and release validation.

• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and organizational skills with stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks across Agile coordination, business analysis, and quality assurance.

• Over 10 years of combined experience in Agile delivery, business analysis, or software quality assurance.

• Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent is preferred.

• Preferred certifications include CBAP, CCBA, ISTQB, or similar professional credentials.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure-based enterprise applications is preferred.

• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility testing and WCAG standards is preferred.

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright is preferred.

• Experience in SQL queries, API testing, and Postman is preferred.

• Background in supporting Federal Government or regulated enterprise projects is preferred.

• Experience in developing training materials and conducting end-user training sessions is preferred.

• Must have federal experience.

• Must possess 10+ years of combined experience in Agile delivery, business analysis, or software quality assurance.
