Senior QA Engineer – Automation, Manual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of test strategy, planning, and release sign-off for the platform.

• Conduct testing for mobile media capture and uploads under realistic device and network scenarios.

• Confirm the task lifecycle, quotas, submissions, review workflows, segmentation, and isolation.

• Validate financial processes, compliance, consent, erasure, and audit flows.

• Create and sustain end-to-end and API automation within CI, including load testing.

• Assist in testing a data-collection platform that includes a worker mobile application, back office, and backend services.

• Investigate production issues and verify releases across distributed services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive QA experience at a senior level.

• Proficient in an intermediate programming language.

• Experience in functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Skilled in mobile media capture and upload testing across various devices, permissions, unstable networks, resumable uploads, and validation.

• Familiarity with testing TTL, expiry, reassignment, quotas, targeting, financial processes, privacy, consent, retention, and erasure.

• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, duplicate events, and eventual consistency.

• Proficient in REST/gRPC API testing and automation using Postman.

• Experience in automated testing with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.

• Competent in troubleshooting using logs, metrics, traces, databases, message queues, SQL/MySQL, Kafka, Grafana, Kibana, and CloudWatch.

• Understanding of CI/CD, Docker, AWS, distributed-service testing, test strategy, release validation, and production issue analysis.

• Willingness or capability to work within the CET time zone.

• English proficiency assessment required during the interview process.

• Candidates must be based in Poland, another EU country, Armenia, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.
