Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and implement detailed automation test plans and scripts aligned with project specifications.

• Perform functional, regression, and database testing to guarantee software quality.

• Develop and sustain reusable test frameworks, regression suites, and smoke suites.

• Evaluate large-scale backend and platform systems, including microservices and API layers.

• Automate APIs and assess web services.

• Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Test enterprise SaaS applications and cloud-based solutions.

• Evaluate GenAI applications, agentic workflows, LLM-based systems, and AI-driven automation.

• Manage and enhance a complex portfolio of customer accounts.

• Assist customers in adopting best practices and hands-on configuration to achieve desired outcomes.

• Establish technical standards for the Managed Services practice and support consultants with edge cases.

• Configure and troubleshoot Outreach capabilities, including AI functionalities.

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Executives.

• Oversee a book of business against Managed Services KPIs, aiming for 70% average QoQ utilization while supporting renewals and reducing churn and contraction.

• Report directly to the Practice Manager, Managed Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, with experience in developing reusable and maintainable test frameworks.

• Strong hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; JavaScript experience is preferred.

• Expertise in Cypress, WebDriverIO, or Protractor.

• Practical experience with AI-driven automation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or SQL.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with API automation tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, SuperTest, or Axios.

• Experience with GraphQL or RESTful web services.

• Experience testing large-scale backend or platform systems, including microservices and API layers.

• Comprehensive understanding of test design principles, CI/CD integration, and scalable test automation.

• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar test frameworks.

• Background in testing enterprise SaaS applications.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices.

• Experience testing GenAI applications, LLM-based systems, or agentic AI platforms is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

• Domain knowledge in sales, sales engagement, or CRM platforms is a plus.
