Senior QA Engineer – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take charge of quality assurance for AI-driven SaaS features from the review of requirements to validation prior to release.

• Develop and implement test plans aimed at identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modeling, analyzing compliance, creating dashboards, and generating AI-assisted recommendations.

• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Examine issues across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, logs, permissions, and workflows driven by AI.

• Assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, explainability, utility, and associated risks.

• Detect edge cases, failure modes, data discrepancies, access-control vulnerabilities, and defects that impact customers.

• Create and sustain automated tests for essential user journeys, APIs, and backend processes.

• Enhance test coverage, CI/CD quality thresholds, regression suites, and readiness for release.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, security researchers, and data engineers.

• Record defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected versus actual behavior, screenshots, logs, and relevant technical context.

• Advance testing methodologies, automation, documentation, and team collaboration.

• Evolve from understanding the product and testing small full-stack features to owning and leading quality assurance for intricate AI-driven SaaS workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, test automation, or software testing for SaaS, web applications, or sophisticated software products.

• Strong analytical skills and a desire to comprehend system functionalities.

• Experience in testing contemporary web applications, APIs, backend services, databases, and distributed systems.

• Thorough understanding of test planning, defect management, regression testing, exploratory testing, and release validation.

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pytest, Postman, or similar technologies.

• Proficiency in writing scripts, automated tests, or testing utilities using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable languages.

• Awareness of REST APIs, browser developer tools, logs, database queries, Git, Docker, and CI/CD processes.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases, ambiguous behaviors, and risks impacting customers.

• Effective communication skills and the capability to document issues in a structured, actionable manner.

• A proactive ownership mindset focused on addressing genuine problems.

• Interest in AI-driven products, cybersecurity, software supply chain security, vulnerability management, or compliance.

• Must be located in Singapore.
