Senior QA Automation Engineer, JavaScript/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Deliver extensive QA support throughout the entire application lifecycle.

• Conduct functional, UI, regression, and end-to-end testing for web applications and newly launched features.

• Verify transactional workflows and payment integrations, particularly in e-commerce and payment-related processes.

• Test and validate POS integrations, data synchronization, and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for data validation, backend verification, and ETL-related testing.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites utilizing Selenium and JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Perform API testing, database validation, and troubleshoot data-centric workflows.

• Participate in release validation while identifying risks, blockers, and quality issues.

• Contribute to enhancements in QA processes, automation coverage, and deployment reliability.

• Function effectively in lean, collaborative Agile/Kanban environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Software QA and test automation.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Selenium and JavaScript or TypeScript for web automation testing.

• Experience in conducting functional, regression, UI, and end-to-end testing on modern web applications.

• Practical experience with testing e-commerce platforms, payment workflows, and third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with testing payment gateways or transactional workflows.

• Strong understanding of API testing, backend validation, and database verification processes.

• Experience collaborating with engineering and data teams within Agile or Kanban frameworks.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced operational requirements.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
