Senior QA Automation Engineer, AI-Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated testing frameworks and test cases for web, API, and backend services.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor the results of test executions.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior QA engineers.

• Investigate and document bugs with thorough reproduction steps and logs.

• Maintain test data, environments, and tools.

• Contribute to fostering a quality culture and enhancing testing processes.

• Utilize AI-powered development and testing tools to expedite QA processes.

• Implement AI-assisted test generation, debugging, and defect analysis techniques.

• Assess and adopt AI-driven QA solutions.

• Incorporate GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI platforms into daily workflows.

• Collaborate on AI-assisted software development lifecycle initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in QA automation.

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.

• Experience with Cypress or Playwright.

• Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or Insomnia.

• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Comprehensive understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and QA methodologies.

• Proficient in Git.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
