Senior Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot production REST APIs and integration services.

• Build and enhance MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors along with enterprise integration frameworks.

• Develop middleware services that connect AI platforms with enterprise applications and data sources.

• Create automation capabilities to streamline business processes and AI-assisted workflows.

• Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.

• Ensure adherence to security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability standards.

• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, libraries, and integration patterns.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Codex to review, test, and validate generated code.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues while considering technical root causes and business impacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong proficiency in Python.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering production REST APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design principles, authentication, authorization, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience in building and supporting cloud-native applications and services.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and service-oriented architectures.

• Practical experience with automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and troubleshooting in production environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to comprehend the business rationale and broader context behind a technical requirement.

• Competence in identifying assumptions, explaining technical trade-offs, and suggesting alternative approaches.

• Sound technical judgment to determine when to act independently, seek clarification, or challenge a requirement.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience with MCP or AI agent integration frameworks.

• Background in developing enterprise automation solutions.

• Experience in front-end or UI development.

• Familiarity with Databricks, cloud platforms, or enterprise AI systems.

• Previous experience in consulting or complex enterprise environments.

• Experience utilizing AI coding agents such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
