This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Oversee the preparation of proposals and presentations, offering capture support and assisting with client management tasks.
• Simultaneously lead one complex proposal while managing smaller proposals.
• Take charge of sections within intricate proposals.
• Organize and coordinate interview teams to develop content.
• Compile and disseminate meeting notes, action items, and feedback.
• Review SOQ and RFP requirements to create compliance matrices, outlines, and schedules.
• Manage proposal resources, including project management, technical teams, subconsultants, and graphics/print teams.
• Ensure completion of assignments, conduct work reviews, and maintain adherence to best practices and quality-control standards.
• Offer strategic writing and editing support for qualifications, executive summaries, win themes, resumes, project descriptions, summary paragraphs, action captions, and benefit statements.
• Input and monitor opportunities and proposals within the CRM.
• Assist sales interview teams by organizing and facilitating kickoffs and rehearsals, as well as preparing presentation materials.
• Provide capture-plan support for short to medium-length capture phases and straightforward pursuits.
• Collaborate with MARCOM staff throughout the capture planning process.
• Maintain updated CRM documentation.
• Coordinate activities for the client-management team focusing on Tier 2 clients.
• Engage in or coordinate client-management activities for Tier 1 clients.
• Work with MARCOM to identify support requirements.
• Deliver research, scheduling, and information organization support to Tier 1 clients.
• Format and edit client-management plans in accordance with company templates and standards.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Proven experience in preparing proposals for capital public works projects and California government entities as a prime contractor, such as Caltrans, Metro, and BART.
• Typically, a 4-year degree in English, marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of cumulative prior proposal experience is necessary.
• Experience in the AEC industry leading, coordinating, planning, and developing architectural-engineering-construction proposals and qualifications.
• Experience in section writing.
• A record of progressively increasing responsibilities over the past year.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to operate with a degree of independence to manage the proposal lifecycle.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
• Availability to work during core business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
