This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, requests for information, and other solicitations to determine requirements, evaluation criteria, compliance obligations, and deadlines.
• Formulate proposal strategies, schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, assignments, and production plans.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings and gather input from executives, project managers, technical staff, and subject matter experts.
• Set internal deadlines and ensure contributors are accountable for providing complete and timely information.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in input from subject matter experts and gather information to enhance responses.
• Create proposal themes, differentiators, and messaging that focuses on the client.
• Write, edit, and craft compelling proposal narratives.
• Prepare letter proposals, technical proposals, Statements of Qualifications, qualifications packages, letters of interest, and other materials for pursuits.
• Convert technical or fragmented information into clear, concise, and persuasive content.
• Structure responses to align with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Conduct quality-control reviews for accuracy, responsiveness, grammar, consistency, formatting, and presentation.
• Generate final documents utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
• Create proposal graphics, organizational charts, process diagrams, project sheets, resumes, and other visual components.
• Maintain and enhance resumes, project descriptions, project sheets, experience matrices, boilerplate content, templates, and reusable materials for pursuits.
• Keep an organized library of proposal content.
• Oversee electronic submissions and hard-copy production when needed.
• Monitor proposal activities, deadlines, submissions, outcomes, and lessons learned.
• Assist in post-submission reviews and enhance proposal processes, tools, templates, and standards.
• Support leadership in assessing pursuit requirements, effort levels, and proposal strategies.
• Manage multiple concurrent pursuits and prioritize tasks based on deadlines, strategic significance, and business needs.
• A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in proposal development, management, pursuit management, or A/E/C marketing.
• Experience in engineering, architecture, construction, environmental, transportation, aviation, energy, utilities, infrastructure, real estate, or other technical consulting fields is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing RFP, RFQ, and SOQ responses from initial solicitation review to final submission.
• Outstanding business writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to transform technical information and subject-matter expert input into clear, persuasive content aimed at clients.
• Strong understanding of proposal responsiveness, evaluation criteria, differentiators, and persuasive proposal strategies.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and possess working knowledge of related Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Ability to independently design professional proposal graphics, organizational charts, process diagrams, project sheets, and other visual elements.
• Experience in developing and maintaining employee resume libraries, project sheets, proposal content libraries, and reusable qualification materials.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and concurrent pursuits while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
• Sound professional judgment and confidence to identify deficiencies, question incomplete information, and guide contributors toward a stronger final product.
• Ability to work independently while fostering communication and collaboration with leadership and technical teams.
• Reliability, flexibility, professionalism, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues primarily during U.S. business hours.
• Willingness and ability to adjust schedules when necessary to meet critical client and submission deadlines.
• APMP, SMPS/CPSM, or similar professional credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
