Senior Property Claims Representative – Large Loss

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve intricate homeowner property claims involving significant losses across various state jurisdictions.

• Adjust major and complex losses entirely, as well as, at times, standard or moderately complex losses.

• Conduct thorough and proper investigations of claims.

• Present file information and investigation status to senior leadership during round-table discussions regarding files.

• Document investigative activities and secure necessary claim documentation within claims and document management systems.

• Develop and maintain summaries and action plans for each claim throughout its duration.

• Submit requests for complex authority and manage associated file expenses.

• Handle incoming calls in real time whenever feasible and promptly return messages.

• Ensure adherence to state insurance regulations and company Claims Handling Guidelines.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

• Prior experience in handling large loss to moderately complex insurance claims is essential.

• Previous customer service experience is required.

• Strong analytical capabilities are necessary.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.

• Ability to make timely and accurate decisions is essential.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision is required.

• Strong negotiation skills are important.

• Comfortable working in a highly productive, team-oriented setting.

• Must maintain an active adjuster's license in applicable states.

• A college degree and/or bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Availability to work during Pacific Time business hours is required.

• Must reside and work outside of California.

• Critical thinking skills for problem-solving are necessary.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is essential.

• Adaptability to changing situations is a must.

• Capability to sit for extended periods, walk short distances, operate a keyboard and mouse, and communicate on the phone.
