📋 Description

• Investigate and document property claims related to liability exposures and litigation matters.

• Conduct thorough reviews of policies and coverage.

• Take recorded statements from involved parties.

• Assign inspections as required.

• Actively manage claim reserves.

• Prepare or assess estimates for claims.

• Negotiate settlements for high-severity or complex losses.

• Communicate updates and decisions regarding claims both verbally and in writing.

• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.

• Provide technical expertise and act as a subject-matter expert on Claims-related initiatives.

• Serve as a resource for less experienced team members.

• Support catastrophe response efforts, which may include potential overtime and deployment.

• Perform additional duties as necessary to uphold SageSure’s mission and values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in property claims.

• At least 3 years of experience in property liability and litigation claim handling.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Empathetic interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in estimating claims.

• Adjuster license in the home state or a non-resident license where applicable.

• Must meet licensing requirements in additional states as necessary.

• Highly preferred: Over 10 years of experience in property claim handling.

• Highly preferred: More than 5 years of experience in both commercial and personal lines liability.

• Highly preferred: Experience handling field claims.

• Highly preferred: Background in catastrophe-focused environments.

• Highly preferred: Professional designations relevant to the field.
