Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily implementation of AI platform projects.

• Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans.

• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams, including architecture, engineering, product, data science, operations, and business units.

• Manage project outputs, dependencies, decisions, stakeholder communications, risks, and challenges.

• Lead efforts in platform onboarding, implementation, and migration.

• Organize readiness planning, testing, validation processes, and deployment assistance.

• Establish and monitor delivery performance, adoption metrics, risks, and key success indicators.

• Deliver leadership reports and suggestions for ongoing improvement.

• Conduct project meetings, status updates, planning sessions, and working group discussions.

• Ensure accountability for action items, decisions, and commitments.

• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams on governance, security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, and organizational requirements.

• Document lessons learned and promote continuous process enhancements.

• Report directly to the Director of Strategic Initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.

• 5-7+ years of experience in project management.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to deliver technology-driven solutions.

• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and addressing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

• Familiarity with planning, risk and issue management, and status reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to create clear documentation and present status updates, risks, and recommendations to both operational and technical audiences.

• Experience in defining and monitoring KPIs to track delivery progress, adoption, and business results.

• Submission of a government-issued photo ID for identity verification is mandatory.

• A comprehensive background check is required.

• In-person I-9 verification is necessary.

• May be subject to drug screening before employment.

• Must have high-speed internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps at home.

• Preferred: Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent).

• Preferred: Experience in supporting platform modernization, application migration, cloud-native technology, AI/ML, automation, or intelligent workflow projects.

• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and prior authorization workflows.

• Experience in healthcare, payer, provider, utilization management, or regulated industries is preferred.
