Senior Project Manager – Sponsor Dedicated, Global

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Oversee interdisciplinary clinical research studies in the role of project manager

• Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory standards

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Company and Customer throughout the study launch, execution, and closeout phases

• Lead project teams to effectively manage quality, timelines, and budget constraints

• Oversee the financial performance of each project

• Coordinate with study conduct partners and proactively address issues

• Deliver all assigned project outputs

• Ensure the quality and completeness of Trial Master Files

• Maintain study data across various databases and systems

• Manage inspection readiness for the execution of studies

• Supervise the development and implementation of project plans

• Formulate contingency plans and strategies for risk mitigation

• Build client relationships to foster future or additional business opportunities

• Participate in bid defense meetings when considered as a potential project manager

• Potentially oversee project management team members and clinical monitoring staff

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related combination of education and experience

• Preferred experience within clinical research organizations and relevant therapeutic fields

• Comprehensive knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements

• Previous experience in leading global clinical trials

• Strong organizational abilities

• Extensive global experience

• Capability to manage time effectively and work independently

• Direct expertise in the relevant therapeutic area

• Willingness to adopt new technologies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 25%
