This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Serve as the owner’s representative overseeing programs that include various restaurant and retail tenant improvement projects within airport terminals.
• Function as an extension of the owner’s design and construction team.
• Supervise general contractors, designers, and vendors across multiple sites.
• Manage the complete program delivery process, which encompasses pre-construction services, bidding, permitting, and scheduling.
• Oversee construction activities, including change orders, invoicing, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Assist the Project Executive or Operations Director in creating project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure delivery that is timely, budget-compliant, and adheres to client standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing project updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party service providers.
• Supervise estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration processes.
• Manage project changes, documentation, and reporting in line with Sevan standards and best practices.
• Implement Sevan technology solutions to improve project delivery efficiency.
• Conduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews to enhance future performance.
• Represent Sevan in meetings with clients and during project discussions.
• Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Identify potential challenges and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Required experience in commercial retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, rebuild, and ground-up construction.
• 5-10+ years of direct experience in this domain as a Project Manager or Senior PM.
• Airport experience is a plus, including the ability to obtain TSA clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in construction project management with comprehensive knowledge of all phases from preconstruction to closeout.
• Outstanding communication skills for interactions with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Smartsheets.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Qualified candidates must reside in Seattle, WA.
• Regional travel is required 50-80% of the time as needed, including up to weekly site visits.
