Senior Project Manager – Power Conversion and Storage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead significant energy initiatives valued between $10M and $200M, focusing on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems.

• Establish customer trust through effective communication, proactive resolution of issues, and reliable delivery that meets expectations.

• Oversee the complete contract lifecycle from finalization to closeout.

• Manage reporting, receivables, change orders, and negotiations for claims.

• Enhance performance in safety, quality, scheduling, costs, margins, cash flow, and risk management.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and business units within GE Vernova for smooth product delivery and commissioning.

• Convey project objectives, risks, opportunities, and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Cultivate an inclusive and engaged team atmosphere while achieving top-tier project management outcomes.

• Safeguard and enhance GE Vernova's reputation in the marketplace through professional and ethical project execution.

• Report directly to the Leader of Projects & Services for the Americas Region.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, customer management, or a related field.

• Proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a technical and commercial focus.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate multicultural, cross-functional teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills to influence individuals at all organizational levels.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Preferred experience in the design, procurement, or construction of solar and/or BESS power plants.

• Prior experience with GE Vernova Power Conversion and Storage products and processes is advantageous.

• Background in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
